At 10up, Allen specializes in front-end performance, crafting amazing user experiences, and writing JavaScript that is lean and future-proof.
Prior to 10up, Allen worked as a web developer for the North Carolina State University College of Engineering, and spent over 10 years as a freelance and contract developer. When Allen is not obsessing about JavaScript purity, he loves to spend time with his wife and dog, and make loud booming sounds on bass guitar.
